Winnipeg Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti’s time in AHL over as it is anticipated he will be added to Team Canada roster for World Championship

It has been a year to remember for Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti who has spent the season in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose with the OHL season being cancelled.  The first-year pro has excelled with the opportunity he has been presented with scoring nine times and adding 17 assists for 26 points in 32 games. He sits sixth in AHL rookie scoring and is the youngest player in the top 10.

The Moose are set to get loose tonight in Ottawa as they roll along with an 11 game points streak but will have to do it without Perfetti as it is anticipated that he will be added to the roster for Team Canada at the IIHF World Championship in Riga, Latvia.

Here are just a few examples of what the prospect has done on the ice this season:

Shootout goal vs Marlies  | Goal vs Marlies | Goal vs Heat | Curl & drag primary assist | Goal vs Sens | Goal vs Sens | GWG vs Heat | First pro goal vs Marlies |
