Winnipeg Jets 2019 2nd Round Draft Pick (51st overall): Simon Lundmark

After going to Finland in the 1st round the Jets went to Sweden for the 2nd round as they select right-shooting defenceman Simon Lundmark.  According to CapFriendly he is signed for the next two seasons with Linköping HC of the SHL.

Here is how he is described:

He is a smooth skating puck mover with a coveted righthanded shot. He lacks any standout traits, but he does everything well, McKeen’s Hockey 2019

He has very good defensive reads and is always very well positioned. He wins himself time by being perfectly positioned when he gets the puck, Hockeyprospect.com 2019

His positional play is very strong, and he rarely gets caught out of position in his own zone , Future Considerations 2019
