Busy Saturday already as we had three hours of the Illegal Curve Hockey Show this morning at the IcePlex. It was great getting a chance to meet some of our listeners and we really appreciated people coming up and saying hello.
The Jets meanwhile were also busy skating in the two groups.
The more veteran group got underway just after 9 am and the lines looked like this according to Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg:
Connor-Scheifele-Wheeler
Ehlers-Little-Laine
Copp-Lowry-Tanev
Vesalainen-Roslovic-Perreault
Kulikov-Trouba
Stanley-Byfuglien
Niku-Chiarot
Morrow-Poolman
Hellebuyck
Broissoit
Tyler Myers didn’t skate with this group but did skate later with Giovanni Vallati and Leon Gawanke led by assistant coach Todd Woodcroft. Declan Chisholm didn’t skate and coach Maurice said he is a little farther behind the other three defencemen.
