Winnipeg Jets 2017 First Round Draft Pick (24th overall): Kristian Vesalainen

Jets fans had to wait almost 2.5 hours since the draft began but they finally heard who the team selected with the 24th overall selection.  It is Kristian Vesalainen a 6’3″ 209 lbs Finnish left shooting winger who plays with Frolunda in the SHL.  He compares his playing style to Rick Nash.
