Winnipeg Jets 2017 Development Camp Day 4

Last day for practice at Jets Development Camp with tomorrow’s focus being a scrimmage between the two squads.

Jansen Harkins:  What has he been doing to get ready for Development Camp?  On playing with the Manitoba Moose last season.  Importance of the off ice activities.  On learning the pro lifestyle.  Having had success with the Moose, what kind of confidence does that build?

Luke Green:  How does he feel this year compared to last year?  How would he describe his season last year?  What was the toughest adjustment going to the AHL last season?  Is the off-ice just as important as the on-ice in terms of learning to be a pro?

Kevin Cheveldayoff:  What is his focus right now?  Does he feel there are players at Development Camp who could compete for a spot with the Jets this upcoming season?  What has impressed him from the newest crop of Jets prospects?  What is the plan for Kristian Vesalainen?  Might Vesalainen be at training camp?  Free Agency plans on July 1st.  Has it been a busier year contacting free agents this year?  Has he made more phone calls?  Putting stock in rumours.  Thoughts on the courting period for free agents.  What would be a good fit for a goalie?  How has his pitch to free agents changed from three or four years ago?  Thoughts on Hellebuyck doing some extra work in Western Canada this summer?  On potential talks with Trouba’s camp and an extension.  What is the plan with Berdin?  Any health updates on Myers and Enstrom?  Will both be ready for the start of training camp?
