Winnipeg Jets 2017 Development Camp Day 3

The Jets prospects skated at the IcePlex this morning and following same we heard from Manitoba Moose coach Pascal Vincent and a number of the players including:

Erik Foley:  Where is he at in his development?  Does he think he is ready now?  What things specifically does he need to work on?  What kind of feedback has he gotten from the Jets?  What does he remember from Development Camp last summer?  Does he feel like he acquitted himself well on his first skate with the Jets last year?  Does he feel better equipped to show the growth in his game?  Is the plan to go back to college next year?  What has Providence been like for him?  Does he seem himself playing in the NHL with the Jets?

Jack Glover:  How does he feel to be on the ice?  What was the toughest part coming back from the injury?  What parts of his game have grown?  What kind of goals does he have for the upcoming season?  What have the last few days been like being on the ice at Jets Development Camp?  Does he feel like he has been playing catch up?  When did he have his surgery done?  Has he given Tucker Poolman any advice?  When he is playing his best game what does it look like?

Dylan Samberg:  What has the first few days of Development Camp been like?  What was the reaction back in Minnesota of him being drafted by the Jets?  What is the focus of his summer to get ready for next season?  How would he describe his style of play?  What did he chose University of Minnesota-Duluth?  When did hockey become a passion?  What have the last two weeks been like?  On just graduating and the whirlwind nature of things.  Is he a late bloomer?  What was the adjustment like to his growth spurt?  Does he feel like the past couple of days have given him some insight into the Jets system?  Will what he learns here apply to the college game?  On his USHL opportunity.  Is there a D man he models his game after?  Was he always a defenceman?  How long was he out with his ankle injury?

Coach Vincent:  What is the theme of camp?  Is it a unique Jets style they are trying to teach or a general NHL style?  Are some of the college players ready to make the jump?  What reports is he getting on Luke Green?  Is there a greater emphasis this year on “moving the puck”?  What catches his eye on Sami Niku?  Will it be a benefit to Niku as he transitions to North America having played at the pro level?  Does he look forward to the scrimmage on Friday?
