Winnipeg Jets 2017 Development Camp Day 2

The Jets prospects skated at the IcePlex this morning and following same we heard from a number of the players including:

Jack Roslovic:  On the KidSport tournament.  How has his summer been?  Assessing his first pro year.  Is it different having the Jets coaching staff on the ice this year at Development Camp?  What is the focus for this summer?  Getting the first game in his hometown and what was reaction to it when he went back this summer?  Which part of his game grew the most last year?  Does the mindset change for next training camp?  Does he get caught up looking at the Jets roster and where his spot might be?  Looking back one year.  What was toughest transition?  On being able to lean on Kyle Connor and vice versa.  What will he have to do to crack Jets roster?  What has he seen from the new arrivals of Jets prospects?  Does he have any advice for the younger players?

Kyle Connor:  His mindset as he gets onto the ice and what does he expect to take from this week?  What has he taken from years past that he can help these young prospects with?  What stands out most about his first pro season?  What did it mean to get that chance late in the season with the Jets?  What is he working on this summer?  On being able to lean on Kyle Connor and vice versa.  Is it different having the Jets coaching staff on the ice this year at Development Camp?  What does he hope to show this week?  Does he get caught up looking at the Jets roster and where his spot might be?  What will it take for him to become an NHL regular this upcoming season?  What did it mean to be able to produce at the AHL level?  Has he had a chance to talk to Kristian Vesalainen?  What will he work on this summer?
