According to Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun the Jets were running these lines today at the IcePlex:
Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler
Laine-Little-Armia
Connor-Perreault-Burmistrov
Tanev-Lowry-Thorburn
Four players (Petan, Copp, De Leo and Peluso) were in gold jerseys and Marko Dano was wearing grey. No Drew Stafford as he remains day to day.
Brian Munz of TSN 1290 has the D pairs as follows:
Enstrom-Byfuglien
Chiarot-Myers
Stuart-Postma
Morrissey-Melchiori/Strait
And as I tweeted earlier the three players the Jets placed on waivers yesterday (Howden, Kichton and Lipon) all cleared and will report to the Moose. The team also announced that they have re-assigned Ryan Olsen to the Moose.
Player Audio:
Bryan Little: Spoke about Jets training camp, building chemistry with Laine and Armia flying under radar.
Blake Wheeler: On goalie depth, Pavelec being in final year of his deal and potential changing of guard.
Dustin Byfuglien: On the youth of Jets, need to be patient, his pairing with Enstrom & balance between stick/carrot.
Coach Audio:
Coach Maurice: What has he seen from Pavelec? How close is he to knowing which goalie will be the opening night starter? How much do the last two pre-season games factor into his decision? Open to running with a rotation? Chance he starts the season with three goalies? Who is the starter against Oilers? Anything new with Drew Stafford? Having patience with the young players? What does he have to do to curtail frustration from young players? What has he seen from Burmistrov in camp? Is he seeing the fruits of the draft and develop mode used by this team? What is the identity he is shooting for this team? What has he learned about his new coaches? On the PP/PK. Players wearing heart monitors. What does he like about Little with the two Finns?
