Winnipeg Jets 2015 6th rounder Mason Appleton signs three-year ELC

While we were awaiting the Jets making the Andrew Copp signing official we got word over twitter from 2015 6th round pick Mason Appleton that he has signed a contract with Winnipeg.  He was scheduled to begin his third year at Michigan State where he had just been named captain of the Spartans back in May.  The Green Bay, Wisconsin product had 12 goals and 19 assists in 35 games last season.

The Jets have made it official.  It is a three-year, entry-level contract with an AAV of $758,333.
