Winnipeg Ice players to choose goal songs, fans to choose songs for home wins

The Winnipeg Ice are expected to score a lot of goals and win a lot of games during the 2022-23 season and they are letting their players and the fans have some fun this season. From their Release:

During the 2022-23 Season, each Winnipeg ICE player will have the chance to select what song will be played following their goal during home games. Additionally, ICE Fans will have the ability to vote for their choice of song to be played in the ICE Cave following a win presented by Domino’s, as well as the song played for the Pancake Goal presented by Smitty’s.

Ahead of the Home Opener vs the Brandon Wheat Kings on October 29th at 7:00PM, fans will be able to submit songs via WinnipegICE.ca/submityoursong
until September 16th.

I have long been a proponent of this concept which derives from MLB allowing batters to select their walk-up music. A few years back I polled Jets prospects/Moose players as to which songs they would choose if they could select their goal songs and there were some interesting choices.
