Winnipeg Ice announce dates and times of games 1 & 2 of WHL Championship Series

The Ice earned themselves a four game sweep of the Blades with a 3-2 win in game 4 last night in Saskatoon. They are the Eastern Conference champions and head to the WHL Championship.

They will face the winner of Seattle and Kamloops. That series currently sits 2-1 in favour of the Thunderbirds. If Seattle wins it would mean Jets fans could see 2022 1st rounder Brad Lambert play games in Winnipeg.

As the Ice finished as the top team in the WHL this season they have home ice advantage so regardless of which team they face the WHL was able to set the first pair of games of this seven game series.

Game 1 – Friday, May 12th at 7 PM CDT
Game 2 – Saturday, May 13th at 6 PM CDT.
