Wild will hire Chuck Fletcher as general manager

From Minnesota Star Tribune:

A new era for the Wild begins Friday.

According to NHL sources, the Star Tribune has learned that the Wild has agreed to terms with Pittsburgh Penguins assistant General Manager Chuck Fletcher to replace Doug Risebrough, who was fired April 16.

An announcement is expected Friday.

It appears that IC was on the right track with the fact that the new replacement for Risebrough would come from the Eastern Conference.
