From Michael Russo of the Star-Tribune:

Antti Miettinen, 27, is a two-way forward who scored 15 goals and 34 points in 69 games last season for Dallas.

He had one goal, one assist in 15 playoff games…

He signed on for $2 million, $2.5 million, $2.5 million on a tres-year deal. Call it a 28th birthday present for the Wild.

Read his entire entry here.

The Wild would have been better off signing one of my aunties. Jokes aside, Miettinen should be a solid third line winger for the Wild. The diminutive winger is defensively responsible, has alright hands and is quick. His salary may be a little higher than some anticipated, but not surprising considering the current market.
