The NHL is a long, grueling season and not many players will make it a full 82 games whether it is because of an injury or as a result of being a healthy scratch.
This season the Jets had just three players make it a full season being Mark Scheifele, Jim Slater and Michael Frolik. The previous highs for Scheifele was 63 games (2013/14), Slater played 78 games (2011/12) and Frolik in 81 games (2013/14).
Honourable mention goes to Andrew Ladd who would have played in 82 games but since today’s game against the Flames doesn’t mean much for Winnipeg coach Maurice has sat him to rest him up for the playoffs.
Rounding out the group of guys who just about made it a full season playing every game are Chris Thorburn (81 games), Blake Wheeler (80 games) and Adam Lowry (80 games).
