I know the Tri-State area has two big game sevens to focus on tonight, but honestly, if you aren’t a Devils/Rangers fan can you actually be hoping for both these teams to win?  In fact, if you want to see made for televison drama, you should be hoping for both of these teams to lose.  That is because, if New Jersey and New York lose, then hockey fans will be treated to Washington versus Pittsburgh.  You could say Crosby versus Ovechkin, or Malkin versus Ovechkin, or Malkin and Crosby versus Ovechkin and Semin.  Any way you spin it, this would be hockey drama at its finest.  Remember that last year the Capitals were an overtime winner away versus Philadelphia from forcing this great matchup.  Let’s hope they take care of business tonight and get a hand from the Hurricanes.

What could be better than watching Capitals versus Penguins for two weeks?
