TSN Insider Trading panel says Jets may have interest in Daniel Winnik

During the 1st intermission of the Jets and Flyers game, the TSN Insider Trading panel mentioned that the Winnipeg Jets are interested in Leafs forward Daniel Winnik.

Darren Dreger says the Jets were in on Winnik during the offseason but the Toronto native chose to sign with his home town team.  Dreger said he “wouldn’t be surprised if the Jets tried to grab him”.

The 9th round selection in 2004 by the Coyotes, Winnik has 3 goals, 16 assists for 19 points in 47 games with the Leafs this season.
