Some big news from Jets head coach Scott Arniel as he provided an update on Haydn Fleury and Colin Miller who were listed as day-to-day as of yesterday but that has been amended to week-to-week today after practice.
He also indicated that Neal Pionk wasn’t feeling right in the game last night and today they learned he too will be out week-to-week.
“It’s been kinda going on and then last night he fell last night and kinda reaggravated it a little bit more.”
Called the loss of Pionk “huge”.
Have to think this shot he took against the Oilers was part of what has caused this malaise.
Tough news for the trio of D men.
It does mean Isaak Phillips could be making his Jets debut at some point in the near future and the team will also recall prospect Elias Salomonsson from the Moose who I suspect will play in the game tomorrow night in Minnesota.
The veteran journalist shares his insight.
