Earlier this month we learned that a pair of Jets had been invited to Team Canada’s orientation camp and today we learned a another trio of players for the NHL club of Winnipeg have been invited to USA Hockey’s orientation camp for the 2026 Olympics in Italy which are set to take place next February.

Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck (Michigan), Kyle Connor (Michigan) and Neal Pionk (Minnesota) have been invited to Plymouth, Michigan to participate in the two day event being put on by USA Hockey. According to the release put out today it will be a “two-day gathering is largely an administrative and team-building event and includes no formal on-ice activity or public component”.
Both Hellebuyck and Connor took part in the 4 Nations tournament.
Before departing Winnipeg for St. Louis the Jets hit the ice for a skate.
