From TSN:

Former Philadelphia Flyers forward Patrick Thoresen signed a one-year contract with Swiss hockey club Lugano.

Thoresen told Norwegian news agency NTB he is looking forward to a year in Switzerland, but plans to return to the NHL after that.

”I want to return to the NHL, I’m not denying that. That is where I want to play,” the 24-year-old Norwegian said.

No surprise here, as Thoresen was rumored to be headed back overseas as recently as last week. His loss won’t matter much to the Flyers, as Thoreson was merely a fourth-line forward on a deep team.
