Winnipeg Jets roll to 8-3 win over the Sharks to keep record perfect at 4-0-0

With an assist (or two) from Richie the Bauer rep the Jets rolled to a 8-3 win over the Sharks to improve to a perfect 4-0-0 on the season.

Notable:

Playing in his 609th game Nikolaj Ehlers ties Dustin Byfuglien for games players (although the games for number 33 are for both Atlanta and Winnipeg).

It was looking like it was going to be a bloodbath with Winnipeg jumping out to a 2-0 lead and outshooting San Jose 11-1.

We had spoken to Nikolaj Ehlers earlier today where he said he felt that his line was going to produce and that they did in this hockey game. Turns out that an extra assist (or two) goes to Richie the Bauer rep according to the Dynamic Dane.

Kyle Connor‘s shot is just unreal as he gets his third of the season which puts him on a 62 goal pace for the season.

With his first couple of points on the night Neal Pionk moved past Jacob Trouba for 13th on the All-Time Jets points list with 180 (28G 152A). And he did it in 38 fewer games.

Cole Perfetti picked up his first couple of goals in the 3rd period.

Ironically on the night that was in his honour it wasn’t the best night for Connor Hellebuyck but he picks up the win in his 500th start.
