The Winnipeg Jets and Winnipeg Free Press are pleased to offer “The First Season”

The Jets have sent the following email to season ticket holders:

Dear Season Ticket Holder,

Do you remember where were you on May 31, 2011? Winnipeg Jets fans know. And now, gift-wrapped in a limited edition book, the Winnipeg Jets and the Winnipeg Free Press are pleased to offer “The First Season” – everything you need to know about the return of NHL hockey to Winnipeg from the purchase of the team to the first goal to the last game of the year. Behind-the-scenes photos you’ve never seen before, team and player stats and a true story all…Fuelled by Passion. Written by Free Press sportswriter Randy Turner, The First Season is a true hockey fan’s collector’s item.

The First Season book is exclusively available at any of one of our three Jets Gear Store locations; MTS Centre, St. Vital Centre and MTS Iceplex at a Season Ticket Holder price of $16.99. One dollar from every book sold will go to the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation.

In addition, please join Winnipeg Jets Coach Claude Noel at the St. Vital Jets Gear store location on Friday, December 7th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm where he’ll be available to personally sign your copy of “The First Season”.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
