The red-hot Admirals continue impressive run defeating Manitoba Moose 4-2

The Moose had a week of practice coming into this weekend’s set with the red-hot Admirals who hadn’t lost a game since the season opener back on October 11th. Coming into tonight’s game they had won six straight games for a 6-1-0-0 record while Manitoba was sitting at 3-3-0-0.

Lineup news:

Chaz Lucius drew back in as the team continues to stick to their ice time management plan for the Jets 2021 1st rounder. Ben Zloty would be getting a second straight game for Manitoba. While they continued the trend of starting the two-game set with Thomas Milic in net.

Moose lineup:
Toninato-Lambert-Ford
Shaw-Lucius-Chibrikov
Suess-Zhilkin-AJF
Liwiski-Nikkanen-Conley

Sautner – Salomonsson
Anhorn – Lundmark
Zloty – Barteaux

Milic

Notable:

Class of 2021 struck first for the Moose when they were down by two as Nikita Chibrikov (2nd) gets his third of the season finishing off the Chaz Lucius (1st) stuff attempt. Lucius had a number of chances just before they got this one to go. That’s his second assist of season in his third game.

Axel Jonsson-Fjällby tied the game by showing off his wheels on the penalty kill for his first of the season.

The special teams were the difference as the Admirals scored three power play goals in this game.

Milwaukee improves to 7-1-0-0 while Manitoba falls to 3-4-0-0.

Multi-point game:

Dawson Barteaux 2A
