The Jim Toth Show | Chat with Winnipeg Jets co-owner Mark Chipman

There has been plenty of consternation from folks outside Manitoba at the prospect of the Jets staying in Winnipeg with some soft crowds at Canada Life to kick off the 2023-24 season. Executive chairman Mark Chipman joined Jim on The Jim Toth Show to chat about this and more this afternoon on 680 CJOB. Runs about 11 minutes.

Topics:

1) What are the main factors in the drop in attendance?
2) How selling tickets works to Jets games via Ticketmaster? (3:56)
3) How much has apathy played into the attendance situation? (5:45)
4) The ‘Forever Winnipeg’ campaign and if there’s a chance this team could ever move during his tenure? (8:25)

There is a second part of the interview but it isn’t available on the CJOB site yet.  When it is will add.
