Starting at the 20:45 mark Jeff Marek and Elliotte Friedman discuss the Winnipeg Jets and whether they should be going for it. Friedman discussed the Jets interest in Timo Meier. Friedman’s point was if the Jets can sign Meier with an extension he felt they’d be all over it but if they don’t think they can sign Meier long term then he doesn’t think it is in the DNA of the organization to make that type of move.
