On Friday TSN’s hockey insider Darren Dreger was connecting the Jets to current Vancouver Canucks UFA Brock Boeser as a “player of interest” to the Jets. With free agency just a day away and it looking more and more likely that Nikolaj Ehlers will walk on Tuesday the question around these parts had been what will Winnipeg to if they aren’t able to retain the Dynamic Dane.

On The Chris Johnston Show which was released this morning Chris Johnston spoke about Brock Boeser and the Jets.
“It would not surprise me in the least if the Jets are pretty aggressively going after Boeser, but I don’t think they’ll be alone..”
He also said:
“…I think he’s a Plan A probably for Winnipeg at this point in time”.
CJ then went on to discuss the signing of Jonathan Toews.
