In what is becoming a common post on this site these days another Moose player will be playing in the DEL. Today the Iserlohn Roosters announced that they have signed Newfoundlander Tyler Boland to a contract for the coming season in Germany. Photo Credit: Colby Spence (Illegal Curve) Two of his teammates from last season in Cole Maier and Leon Gawanke signed there for the 2022-23 campaign (Cole for one year and Leon signed a four-year deal) while nine other former Moose players played in Germany last season, including: Julian Melchiori Zach Redmond Spencer Machacek Nolan Zajac Ryan Olsen JC Lipon Skyler McKenzie Hayden Shaw Emile Poirier Boland completed his second season as a pro in 2022-23 playing 44 games in the AHL with Manitoba and 11 games in the ECHL with Newfoundland. He also played a single playoff game for the Moose and nine with the Growlers after he was assigned there once Manitoba had been eliminated by Milwaukee. Stick tap to reader Greg for the heads up.
