Practice Report

The Jets were back on the ice today at the IcePlex following a day off on Sunday as they prepare to face the Kings tomorrow in the home opener here in Winnipeg. All players were present and accounted for with the exception of Adam Lowry and Jacob Trouba. Following practice coach Maurice indicated that Trouba had been granted a leave of absence from the team but would play tomorrow night and Lowry is fine and would also play on Tuesday against the Kings. Lines & D pairs: Connor-Scheifele-Wheeler Ehlers-Little-Laine Dano-Copp-Tanev Vesalainen-Roslovic-Perreault Lemieux Morrissey-Myers Chiarot-Byfuglien Kulikov-Morrow Hellebuyck & Brossoit Audio: Bryan Little Connor Hellebuyck Coach Maurice: Status of Trouba/Lowry. On the penalties. How would he describe the penalty kill? What goes into the through process of moving Ehlers? On Ehlers being the player that moves lines. How does he think Hellebuyck looked facing that many shots in two games? On Kulikov's status. Does he expect to use the same lineup tomorrow? On the Kings firepower. What did he think of Vesalainen's game after two contests?
