Long term build through the draft means that when free agency is upon us, the Jets are looking at smaller pieces of the puzzle. It is a reality that cannot be easily shrugged off. As someone who loves this city and all it has to offer, it is difficult to hear comments like these. He clearly loves the city, was always engaging with the media and perhaps will be given a bigger role than he had last season. Winnipeg Sun: Kane deserves more cash. When IC's Richard Pollock did his market analysis of Kane's value, he put him in a category with a James Neal or Phil Kessel. What type of money do you think he merits? Winnipeg Sun: Free agent decisions to make. Seems unusual that the brass hasn't signed any of these guys yet. Perhaps the focus is getting RFA Kane signed, but you would think they would want to secure some of these guys before Sunday.
