Note: The Jets had the lead in the 3rd period but lost in OT...twice last night in Denver. It was a game the Jets could have had two points but one they are probably happy to have salvaged at least one. The team returns home today and will be back on the ice tomorrow as they get set for a pair of games against Vegas (Friday) and Ottawa (Sunday) here in Winnipeg. Note II: The Moose are riding the hottest streak since they arrived back in Manitoba having won seven straight and 11 of their last 12. They have a four-game home stand which begins tonight when they welcome the Cleveland Monsters. Puck drops at 7 pm. Connor Hellebuyck's comments were refreshing (and more in keeping what we would hear when he was in the AHL with the Moose) as he realizes that he doesn't have to be infallible in the NHL.
