Swedish Report: Enstrom turns down chance to play for Sweden at Olympics

We first learned about the news via twitter:

A report from Swedish paper Aftonbladet confirms the above:

Aftonbladet – NHL star snobs Olympic Games with Three Crowns.  According to the article, Enstrom wanted to maintain his focus on the Winnipeg Jets.  (Be aware the paper is in Swedish.  Even using google translate it is rough).

What do you think of Enstrom committing himself to the Jets and passing on the opportunity to play for Sweden in Sochi?

Update:  Enstrom spoke today following practice about his decision.  Listen here:

Tobias Enstrom – On decision not to play.  What were his reasons?  Do his past injuries play into this?  Tough decision to make.  Did he take some time to make the call?  Did the travel play into it?  Was it harder considering Sweden is considered a Gold Medal favourite?
