It was a wacky Saturday as the Jets were trying to get ahead of a storm that was set to his the Twin Cities this weekend. They moved up their media availability to Saturday morning with the hope that they could beat the storm but as the Whiteout proved to be a foe on this day and forced the team first to Duluth, Minnesota before returning to Winnipeg.
So instead of a morning skate the team is flying to Minnesota this morning which is similar to what you would see during exhibition games during pre-season than a playoff game but what can you do. The team confirmed they have landed in Minneapolis.
Players and coach Maurice are expected to speak after 3 pm this afternoon and we will bring you their comments.
