Washington Post: Joel Ward scores in overtime. The Capitals knock off the Bruins. How many expected to read that after this series was over? (Well perhaps yours truly who called Washington in 7).

Globe and Mail: Defending champion Bruins ousted by Capitals. If the Sens and Panthers can knock out the Rangers and Devils, the only team with a Stanley Cup on their resume will be the Flyers.
Other playoff news:
NHL.com: New blood advancing in the Western conference. Who would have picked this as your Western Conference final four teams? Not many. I was able to pick Nashville. Not shocked by St. Louis, although I went with San Jose.
Globe and Mail: Blackhawks head into off-season with questions. This team was expected to do a lot more than a first round exit. Should be quite the summer in Chi-town.
