The team will begin rookie camp in Victoria, B.C., by formalizing the signing of Steven Stamkos, its No. 1 draft pick in this season’s NHL Entry Draft.

No surprise here.  Stamkos signed for the maximum amount under the rookie salary cap and, by all acounts, he’ll be worth it.
