Special Edition of Illegal Curve Hockey covering Hellebuyck injury, Lowry extension, Ehlers return & more

It’s the day that everyone has been waiting for since Nikolaj Ehlers signed with the Hurricanes back on July 3rd. The 2014 1st rounder of the Jets is back in Winnipeg for the first time after spending 10 seasons in Manitoba with his new Carolina team. We get you set for the game with our second special edition show live on Location at Cityplace.

Drew, Ezra and Dave will bring you up to speed on all that happened at morning skate at Canada Life Centre and then look ahead to puck drop. We’ll also discuss the five-year extension signed by captain Adam Lowry on Wednesday as well as the rumour that prospect Brad Lambert is seeking to be traded elsewhere.

And unexpectedly (prior to this morning) we started with the biggest news of the day being Connor Hellebuyck being shut down for minor arthroscopic knee procedure.
