Some Evening News

  • It looks like Mathieu Schneider could return to the Thrashers line-up on Thursday.  Hopefully Schneider can find his offensive groove upon his return.
  • Is Marian Gaborik close to being traded?  Seems like a trade is inevitable.
  • Kyle Okposo is expected to be out one week with an arm injury.  Nothing too serious.
  • Damien Cox thinks Cliff Fletcher is the teflon man in Toronto. The Jays just need to bring back Pat Gillick and Toronto will have taken retro being cool to a whole new level.
  • The Wings have placed Darren McCarty on waivers.  I don’t see him being picked up.
