Here are some afternoon links for your reading pleasure:

  • Mike Chen at Battle of California would tweak the Sharks top two lines if he could.  Looks the Sharks to bounce back tonight after getting dominated by the Wings.
  • Daryl Reaugh says Sean Avery didn’t work in Dallas because he was all about “me.”  The piece is good but it is simply worth clicking on the link just to see the Razor’s picture on the right side with an abundance of chest hair.
  • Books about hockey do sell, says Joe Pelletier.  I agree.  Especially with the high quality of hockey books that have been released the past little while.
  • The Stars have activated Jere Lehtinen off IR.  They should be able to pick up the two points tonight against a horrible Senators squad.
  • Jason Arnott plays his 1000th game tonight in Nashville.  He has had a productive and I’d say underrated career.

Also, this morning we completed the first trip around the entire league for our State of the Division posts.

If you missed them, here they are again:

State of the Pacific Division–December 20th

State of the Northeast Divsion–December 12th

State of the Central Division–December 5th

State of the Southeast Division–November 28th

State of the Northwest Division–November 20th

State of the Atlantic Division-November 18th

From now on, we will be posting the State of the Division every Friday with the divisions rotating through every six weeks.
