Should we expect Sakic to make a decision soon?

Is Joe Sakic close to making an announcement concerning his future?
The Avalanche captain, who has been pondering whether to return for a 20th NHL season or retire, is scheduled to hold a news conference Thursday morning at Sanctuary in Sedalia before his annual Celebrity Classic charity golf tournament.

Sakic, who turned 39 last month, is an unrestricted free agent but isn’t expected to field offers from any other team.
