Saturday Headlines: Pittsburgh Penguins potentially interested in Winnipeg Jets RFA Jack Roslovic

During the final 16 seconds of tonight’s Saturday Headlines segment, Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman said the Pittsburgh Penguins may have some interest in Jets RFA forward Jack Roslovic. The Penguins have started the season 0-2.

Friedman said:

“….I also believe they’re one of the teams who’s very interested. We’ll see if there’s a match.”

Nothing in particular was mentioned in terms of what the Jets could potentially get back in return from the Penguins.

Roslovic remains back home in Columbus as he requires a new contract. He needs to be signed by February 11th or he will be ineligible to play this season.
