Saturday Headlines | Mark Scheifele to become part of WHL ownership group of the Penticton Vees

Some news on Saturday Headlines tonight via Elliotte Friedman who was discussing WHL expansion which is expected to be announced on Monday.

One team leaving the BCHL to join the WHL he said are the Penticton Vees. He indicated that former NHL goalie Mike Richter is expected to be part of the ownership group along with Jets centre Mark Scheifele. He added that Scheifele’s tie is that his former billet family in Barrie is Graham Fraser.
