Canes forward Tuomo Ruutu took part in the morning skate today, showed good mobility and could play tonight in Game 3 against the Penguins, although coach Paul Maurice is playing it coy.

From what it sounds like, Ruutu will play so long as the morning skate didn’t cause his injury any aggravation.  He’d obviously be a big help for a Hurricanes squad that is in a must-win situation.
