As Nash made his way into Philips Arena before the game, he stopped on his own volition to chat with three guys who won a trip to Atlanta based on their ability to play the NHL2K8 video game.

“Rick was awed by them,” Rhinehart said, “just as much as they were awed by him.

“That stuck with me, that Rick Nash would be perfect for this, because he’s a great player and he’s also a really passionate gamer.”
