Winnipeg Jets sign RFA Neal Pionk to a four-year contract

With Neal Pionk’s arbitration date fast approaching (August 13th), today Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman announced that the Jets have agreed to terms with the restricted free agent on a four-year contract with an average annual value of $5.875 million dollars.

Pionk was part of the Jacob Trouba trade back in 2019 and has become a pivotal piece for the Jets on the right side.  He registered three goals and 29 assists in 54 regular season games last season and added four assists in eight playoff games.

The team has now confirmed the deal.
