Report: Winnipeg Jets prospect Nathan Smith invited to play for Team USA at Beijing Olympics

One Jets prospect who has earned a lot of focus this season is 2018 3rd rounder Nathan Smith. He is in his junior year Minnesota State U – Mankato and has 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points in 20 games which matches his career high but in 15 fewer games. That is good enough to be tied for second overall in NCAA scoring.

According to Chris Peters of Dailyfaceoff.com the forward is on the list his colleague and hockey insider Frank Seravalli put out. You can see that list here.

Talk about an opportunity for the Tampa product.
