Reflections on full season in Manitoba with the Moose for Winnipeg Jets prospect Brad Lambert

Recap of the 2023-24 season for Brad Lambert:

We have spent a lot of time during the 2023-24 season for the Manitoba Moose detailing the exploits of Winnipeg Jets 2022 1st rounder Brad Lambert who was in his first full AHL season. He played 14 games last year before being assigned to Seattle of the WHL where they moved him from wing to centre. The Moose kept him at centre for this season and the Finnish product has really blossomed playing there. Helps that he’s played alongside veteran winger Jeff Malott for most (59 of 64) of his games this season.

He rose up the All-Time lists for Moose rookies this season as we’ve been detailed. His 21 goals and 34 assists for 55 points in 64 games puts him 2nd on All-Time Moose rookie points list. His 34 apples puts him in 5th on the Assist list for rookies. His 54 points was good enough for 2nd in the entire AHL for rookie points.

He also played his first NHL games with the Jets in the final game of the regular season for Winnipeg which saw him get an assist and he was named 2nd Star of the Game.

We caught up with him to reflect on the year that was.
