It wasn’t pretty tonight but the Jets stuck with it and beat a pesky Los Angeles Kings team 6-3.   The Jets improve to 31-25-5 on the season and finish the six game home-stand with a record of 4-2-0.

For those who would like to take a deeper dive into the advanced stats here are the results from the game via Natural Stat Trick.

Notable:

– The Class of 2015 struck again tonight as Jansen Harkins tied the game with his second of the season and first at home while Mason Appleton scored about four minutes later with Jack Roslovic drawing assists on both goals.

– Patrick Laine’s empty netter gave him four straight seasons with at least 25 goals.

– Jets captain Blake Wheeler has now scored at least 20 goals in seven straight seasons.

Points:

Blake Wheeler 2G 1A
Nikolaj Ehlers 1G 2A
Patrik Laine 1G 1A
Jack Roslovic 2A
Mark Scheifele 2A
