Now, to the negative. When Bryan Murray traded Patrick Eaves and Joe Corvo for Mike Commodore and Cory Stillman, it looked like a pretty good deal. I certainly thought so. Ottawa was ramping up for the playoffs by bringing in a big body on D and a second-line forward the team so badly needed. On Tuesday, Stillman signed with Florida and Mike Commodore signed with Columbus, leaving Ottawa with exactly zip from the trade. Now, Carolina has a good, well-liked, young depth forward and a talented power play quarterback.
