Jets Release:
The Winnipeg Jets today announced they re-assigned forward Ryan Olsen from the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
Olsen, 20, played in 71 games with the Rockets this season. In that span, he recorded 64 points (30G, 34A) and 73 penalty minutes. In 14 playoff games, the Delta, BC native earned seven points (4G, 3A) and seven penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the sixth round, 160th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
