PuckPedia Report: Winnipeg Jets RFA Pierre-Luc Dubois not expected to file for salary arbitration

Today was the deadline to file for salary arbitration and the folks at PuckPedia are reporting that Pierre-Luc Dubois will not be filing for salary arbitration.

If you’re wondering what that means here is what they said:

Reasons to not file for Arb:

-Player wants to be able to accept his Qualifying Offer (expires July 22) & doesn’t expect Arb award to be significantly better. Or doesn’t want to give up the leverage of accepting QO

-Player wants to keep open the ability to sign an offer sheet

Which makes for an interesting times ahead.
