Preseason Game 6: Flames 3 Jets 1 post-game recap

And that will do it for the exhibition games of the preseason for Winnipeg as they drop game 6 to the Flames by a final score of 3-1 and finish with a 2-3-1 record (for what it is worth which is nothing).

Notable:

The penalty kill was less than stellar for Winnipeg as they gave up two goals on four Flames opportunities.

The Jets lost Nikolaj Ehlers towards the end of the 2nd period and he didn’t return for the 3rd period although it seemed likely the team was holding him out for precautionary reasons.

Defenceman Logan Stanley scored the only goal for the Jets as he pinched in from the blueline and ripped a shot past Markstrom.

Cole Perfetti made some nice plays defensively and drew two penalties against the Flames.
