On a night the Jets “mostly” regulars faces the Flames “mostly” regulars it was the Winnipeg based NHL club team which came out on top courtesy of a power play (3/5) that was firing, a stingy PK (6/6) both of which, on top of an excellent performance from ‘big save’ Dave helped the team to a 5-0 win. They are now 3-1-1 in the pre-season.

Notable:
Rick Bowness spoke earlier today about the need for the top line to perform and they sure put up some points this evening as Kyle Connor finished with 2G, Nikolaj Ehlers had 1G 2A and Mark Scheifele finished with 1G.
He was also asked this morning about Nikolaj Ehlers being able to be a difference maker and it appeared 27 was listening.
Veteran forward Sam Gagner took advantage of the opportunity to fill in for the missing Pierre-Luc Dubois and he chipped in with two assists.
Goalie David Rittich had a 37 save shutout against his former team.
